In the early 1980s, His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji began His divine saga to inspire the masses and motivate them to render selfless service to the society. With His benign grace, He bestowed Brahm Gyan–the Eternal Knowledge to people. This Knowledge awakens the spiritual self within an individual. In effect, it paves way to re-establish human values in the society. He has brought together millions of people, and guided them how to infuse moral values in the society. In 1991, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan was registered as a non-governmental charitable society for the promotion of social welfare and development of benevolent society. The organization has held hands of more than 5000 full time and some part time selfless volunteers all over the world to drive initiatives in a peaceful manner and address multiple issues of social concern. His devotees are driven by the vision of a peaceful world, where all will live in harmony with each other and nature. The inspired and enlightened devotees try to cultivate compassion, brotherhood amongst the people and develop commitment to work for the benefit of the present and future generations of humanity. DJJS conducts more than 40,000 spiritual events across India. Moreover, it is spread all across the globe through a network of branches. Besides this, the preachers take complete initiative in providing counseling to resolve the doubts of followers. On the other hand, most of the significant issues addressed by the organization are well-identified concerns taken up and discussed in international conventions. These range from assessing basic needs of the society such as wholesome education for all, creation of a disease-free environment and improvement of basic infrastructure for civic and health amenities. Besides, larger concerns such as environmental preservation, social injustice and drug abuse eradication are earnestly tackled. A number of organizations and international forums have carried out research and drawn structured plans to help the society, but staggered when it came to faithful and selfless implementation. Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, with the help of its dedicated volunteers, works to identify such concerns, and excels in offering tangible solutions. The results are invariably profound and precedent-shattering.
